Loughrea TidyTowns

Making Loughrea cleaner, greener, and better for residents and visitors alike.

About us

Loughrea Tidy Towns is made up of a group of local people passionate about their community. They work towards making Loughrea town and its environment a better place to live, work, and visit.

The group likes to include all people from the young to the not so young. Social Inclusion is very important as it brings people together as well as generating ideas for potential projects. Connecting with individuals, businesses, community groups and other such entities is vital in establishing an involvement in the broader community.

Finding what people love about their community, what they would like to see improved and what their personal vision for the area is so important. It gives people a purpose and allows them an opportunity to take part in making their towns and villages a place to be proud of.
